StreetGames Doorstep Sport Advisor
Throughout Aaron's third academic year of study at the University of South Wales he will be undertaking a two day work based learning placement with StreetGames Wales. This placement involves Aaron rebranding and organising their Doorstep Sport Clubs programme. Aaron is looking to examine the current situation of the project before rebranding. The aim of this exercise is to ensure all members of the StreetGames team are aware of the key components of the Doorstep Sport Clubs and the participants feel part of a clear group which they can take ownership of.
Aaron will be completing a lot of work for StreetGames as the year progresses so keep an eye out for more information and updates of this story.

Sport RCT's More-Able and Talented Programme (MAT Project)
Aaron Northmore undertook the role of Project Leader for Sport RCT's first more-able and talented programme (MAT Programme/project). This role required Aaron to communicate with a predetermined 30 primary schools across the Rhondda Cynon Taff area to explain the project as well as arrange booking slots for each. Aaron was also required to recruit a team of volunteers before providing them with sufficient training which would allow delivery to take place. Aaron developed many key skills whilst undertaking this position such as leadership, time management, communication, recruitment, finance management, data analysis and report writing to name a few.
The MAT Project was hugely successful and due to Aaron's efforts it has been rolled out again with Active Valleys receiving funding from Sport RCT to ensure a high quality is maintained. Aaron will continue to be involved and will act as a key contact for the project leads; he will also be in communication with all parties to ensure quality assurance is maintained.
Below is a copy of the Project Report produced by Aaron Northmore on behalf of Gavin Bennett at Sport RCT. A copy of Gavin Bennett's feedback will also be attached in due course.
